This Sunday...   09.11.11  ...marks the beginning of thebrideunveiled!  Starting at 2:00 p.m. we will have fun, food, worship, "girl talk", and a time to hear the Father's heart for you, His BRIDE .  If you are 14, 15, or 16 years old and are interested in attending or hearing more about this ministry, call Robyn Tucker at 212-6767

What is thebrideunveiled?

The GARDEN Apostolic Training center is offering a ministry for young girls ages 14-16 who desire to prepare for their earthly bridegroom and their eternal bridegroom, Jesus. Young women in today's culture are challenged by the pressures and choices that compete with the divine intent of our bridegroom, Jesus who is in search of a queen to be his bride. With practical teachings, application, impartation, and experience, these girls will discover the TRUTH that is hidden inside a pure heart. These sessions will be offered on Sunday afternoons beginning in September 2011.

Prepared in the beginning...

All of us as little girls dream of someday becoming a BRIDE.  We dream about the dress, the ring, the wedding...and most definitely we dream of the Prince who will someday sweep us off our feet. We dream that we will be Loved by him, and that he will be Loved by us.  We become royalty...he our King...and we his Queen.   It's a dream that is treasured and protected...sharing it with only our "bestest" friends. 

But then often times, some things about our dream begins to change.  For some- the dream begins to fade and it is replaced with a reality far different.  For others- the dream is stolen.  A pure heart is taken and abused...  And then for some, the dream is compromised...traded out for a new dream.  One that is thought to be bigger, better...the world's dream.

A lie is carefully disguised as truth.  "No one ever stays together",  "You've got to be independent, and able to take care of yourself", "That kind of love is just in fairy tales, it's not the way it works in the real world.", "No man will ever really love you; he'll just use you."    Truth is taken, twisted and perverted becoming a LIE.  We begin believing the lies, because they resemble some part of a truth.  Our hearts build walls, and our minds begin to agree with the world.  Before we know it, our dreams have been forgotten, and traded out with a sad counterfeit. 

John 10:10 says that the devil comes to "steal, kill, and destroy."  He's gotten very good at his job and unfortunately we have believed many of his lies.  It all started..."In the beginning..."
